Stunning Fall Wedding in Minnesota

On a magical Halloween weekend, amidst the breathtaking beauty of Minnesota, a love story unfolded at the enchanting Scenic Escape Barn Wedding Venue. Katie and Jeremiah’s day was an awesome mix of all the things that make Minnesota weddings so magical: gorgeous views, a perfect sunset, epic star photos, a sweet doggo, and an AWESOME couple to spend the day with. As a Minnesota wedding photographer with a deep love of fall (and dogs!), I knew going in that it was going to be a joy to capture this wedding! 

Getting Ready

The day kicked off with a buzz of excitement as the bridal squad geared up for the big day. Picture this: the bridesmaids rockin’ their black dresses, creating the perfect elegant look for a woodsy, rustic venue like Scenic Escape Barn. I was able to capture all of the candid moments white Katie got ready with her hilarious bridesmaids, and you can see the love and laughter in every shot. Jeremia got ready with his groomsmen at the same time, and what’s even better – his grooms-dog, too!

The First Look

Oh man, let me tell you about those first looks! When Katie ‘s dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time, you could feel the love and pride radiating from him. It was such an emotional moment that had everyone reaching for the tissues. (Including me!) And then, the first look with the soon-to-be hubby? Total heart-melter! Katie and Jeremiah’s eyes locked, and you could see how deep their connection ran. There was a LOT of laughter between those two. And Rufus the dog got to be a part of it all, too!

Sunset and Star Photos

We were worried about the windy weather at first, but luck was on our side during cocktail hour. It was the perfect moment to snap some amazing drone photos from the sky. This was on the must-have list for Katie and Jeremiah, so I was thrilled we got a chance to make it happen! 

And I couldn’t even think about writing this blog without bringing up the INCREDIBLE star photos we were able to get that night! The couple and I snuck away for a few minutes during the reception and found the perfect spot just down the street from the Scenic Escape Barn. It was the perfect time for Katie and Jeremiah to take a moment together to breathe in the magic of the day, while getting some stunning astrophotography wedding shots.

Alright, let’s dive into the seriously cool details of this wedding! Every little thing was so spot-on and totally showed off the couple’s killer style. I had a blast capturing their vision come to life. Can we talk about those flowers? They were arranged with such a gorgeous hipster vibe that fit Scenic Escape Barn’s style just right!! 

But here’s the kicker – this wedding had a bit of a Halloween theme! The couple incorporated some awesome spooky touches that gave the whole thing a unique twist! It was like a Halloween wonderland! Let’s not forget about the Scenic Escape Barn, the backdrop for all these amazing shots. It had this rustic charm that screamed fall wedding in Minnesota, making everything just a bit more magical. Trust me, these detail photos are going to blow your mind and make you want to throw your own Halloween-themed wedding!
