My ultimate goal as your wedding photographer is to make sure you get to experience your amazing wedding day! I don’t want you focused on details or poses - I want you focused on snuggling with the man of your dreams, the tears in your dad’s eyes as he walks you down the aisle, and the champagne giggles your bridesmaids get as they dance the night away.
Before the day arrives, we will work together to plan out your perfect day, so we are totally in sync before the wedding. Not to mention we will have an awesome engagement shoot going to breweries, sitting under the stars, or anything else you can dream up!
By the time the wedding day comes around, I’ll just be that friend who happens to be wicked good at capturing your love on camera! (And wears a fanny pack full of batteries to your wedding!)

Welcome
After finding that we’re a perfect fit (I knew it!), all I will need to lock in your wedding date is a signed contract and a deposit. I’ll proudly be your camera-carrying third wheel!

Engagement
Engagement shoot time! Let’s capture some photos of you two doing something fun together - kayak trip? Brewery game night? Camping adventure? I am in (and will help you plan!) for anything you’d like to do.

Planning the wedding day timeline may not sound that important, but it’s what can make the difference between a hectic, stressful day and a laid back, relaxed one. Which is exactly why planning wedding day timelines is MY JAM. I will help with it every step of the way!

It’s your wedding day! I will be there with bells on (well, with cameras actually) to capture every laugh, tear, Champagne toast, funky chicken dance, and all the personal moments that you’ll want to remember for years to come!

I like to keep it simple here at L&A, so every wedding package option includes your WHOLE wedding day! Seriously. From the morning champagne while you get ready with your best friends to the celebratory dance party that night, and everything in between, I'll be there to capture it all!
Each package includes a password-protected online gallery where you can download your photos directly, a print release for you to do anything you’d like with your photos, and a wedding day timeline completely customized to your special day.

I have photographed more than 150 beautiful weddings and consider myself to be a fine art lifestyle photographer, which simply means I want to capture every playful, romantic moment! I shoot a combination of classic, romantic shots as well as light-hearted, candid moments that capture the true essence of your best day ever.
The last thing I want is for you to feel awkward during your photos, so I will help every step of the way to pose you in ways that are natural and comfortable. But, more than that, I will keep you guys moving and interacting and playing together for portraits that look authentic. (And are actually fun to take!)
It’s pretty common to find me climbing trees, crawling on the ground, or shooting through bushes on the wedding day to create amazing images.

A wedding day timeline can either make your day stressful or a total breeze, and we definitely want it to be a breeze! A few weeks before the wedding, we will sit down and talk through the day to make sure there is time for absolutely everything you want to do on your wedding day, including some wiggle room in case anything gets behind. That way, when the day comes, you’ll have nothing to do but relax and enjoy it!
When I was planning my own wedding, I had no idea how many hours of coverage I would need. 7? 8? 25?? But we also didn’t want to try to fit more things into a small number of hours and stress ourselves out running around on the day. As your photographer, I don’t want that either! I will start an hour before you put on your dress and stay an hour after your first dance, and we can fill all the time in between any way you want.
The good ones, all of the good ones. You can expect about 50 photos for every hour I’m shooting. But don’t worry about the numbers; I’m going to get you every good image I possibly can!

Um...heck yeah! I travel between Honolulu, Denver, and Minneapolis regularly, but there is nowhere in the world I won’t go to. My bucket list still has plenty of places just waiting to get checked off, like Iceland, Alaska, Australia - I could go on forever!
Almost always! I absolutely love epic drone photos, but there are regulations to when and where it can be flown. During our consult we will discuss locations where we can safely bring it out.
Not usually. The drone is kind of loud and a little distracting for guests, and I want them to be focused on what really matters: you! It is definitely better during portraits. But if you want it during your ceremony, just let me know!
