I'm a hopeless romantic who smiles so much behind my camera that my cheeks hurt by the end of most of my shoots! I’m a wedding and family photographer, virtual storyteller, golden sunset-seeker, and the ultimate hype woman.
It was the perfect summer day for a wedding at the Villa Bellezza winery. There was nothing but sunshine and blue skies for the bride and groom’s big day. Well, sunshine, blue skies, and lots of family and friends surrounding them with love and laughter! Cassie and Jeremy were both so completely happy and in love, the day was nothing but relaxing and joyful.
Photographing the bridal party while getting ready was so much fun! Cassie’s bridesmaids and Jeremy’s groomsmen were the best. After hair and makeup was done for the ladies, and Cassie put her dress on there were so many happy tears and smiles. The bride looked stunning. Cassie’s “Bride Tribe” were fantastic.
As always, the guys just did not have as much to do getting ready, but they had fun while they did. I loved the pocket watches they all had so much, it was a really cool photograph. There was nothing but excitement when it was time for the first look! Some of my favorite shots of the day were during and after first look on this gorgeous wrought iron staircase at the winery.
I have to say though, my favorite moment was definitely right after the ceremony, when the bride and groom walked back down the isle. They had less than a minute alone before the rest of the bridal party joined them, and then all of their lovely guests, family and friends. Cassie looked up at Jeremy and just wept tears of pure happiness while her husband held her tightly. They looked into one another’s eyes and the magical thing they had just done really dawned on them. It was amazing to watch and I definitely had tears in my eyes too!
I have to say their colors were perfection, I loved the way the dark blue suits photographed with the teal bridesmaids dresses. The bouquets of wildflowers were perfect for the setting. The reception was absolutely gorgeous, everyone had a wonderful time. I especially loved how happy the grandparents were, every photograph of them is special.
Cassie and Jeremy and I snuck out of the reception before the dancing began for sunset photographs. I’m so glad we did this because the winery is truly magnificent. Jeremy was so overcome with how beautiful Cassie looked in that moment that he actually requested one more solo photograph of her. He wanted to remember that moment for the rest of their lives.
I am so happy I was able to be a part of their wedding day. Congratulations to the bride and groom, I wish them all the happiness!
